Terms of Service

DRAFT — requires review by a lawyer before Chojio accepts payment. This page exists so the required sections are written down and the product is not built assuming they say something they do not. It is not legal advice.

1. What Chojio is

Chojio is a Discord application that lets server administrators build interactive messages, forms, tickets, reaction roles and scheduled posts. It is operated independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc.

2. Who may use it

You must meet Discord’s own minimum age for your country. Adding Chojio to a server requires the Manage Server permission, and by doing so you confirm you are authorised to act for that server.

3. Acceptable use

Chojio may not be used to impersonate a person or organisation, to build panels that collect passwords or payment details, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or for anything prohibited by Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines or Developer Policy. Link buttons are restricted to http and https for this reason.

4. Paid plans

Premium is billed per server through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period.

5. What happens if you downgrade

Content created while on Premium is not deleted when a server returns to Free. Items over the Free limit become read-only and stop being posted until the server is back within the limit or resubscribes. This section must state the exact behaviour before launch.

6. Availability

Chojio is provided as-is, without a service level commitment. It depends on Discord’s API and inherits any outage or change to it.

7. Termination

We may suspend an account or a server that violates these terms or that puts the application’s standing with Discord at risk.
